External Relations Committee to Meet January 19 at College Park
The Committee on External Relations of the University System of Maryland (USM)
Board of Regents will meet in public session on Friday, January 19 at 9:30
a.m. in Critique Hall in the Plant Sciences Building at the University of
Maryland, College Park.
(Note: The External Relations Committee was previously known as the Committee
on Advancement. The Board of Regents voted to change the name at its last
meeting in December.)
The committee will consider several agenda items, including the following:
- Overview of 2001 legislative session
- Consideration of the role of boards of visitors at various USM
institutions
- Status of the USM's Make a Lasting Impression capital campaign
- Fiscal Year 2000 compliance requirements for affiliated foundations and
external alumni associations
- Report on federal and state relations
