Regents' Technology Committee to Meet June 11 at USM Office

The Technology Committee of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet in public session on Monday, June 11 at 9 a.m. in the Chancellor's Conference Room of the USM Office, 3300 Metzerott Road in Adelphi, MD.

The committee will consider several agenda items, including:

• Board of Regents resolution on information technology (IT) policies, as required under Senate Bill 682. That law mandates that the USM develop a strategic IT plan that is compatible with state IT policies and procedures. The committee also will discuss a draft USM IT strategic plan.
  
  
• Stakeholder perspectives on possible implementation of a student technology fee.
