BSU Announces New Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Bowie, Maryland - Bowie State University has named Dr. Patricia Pierce Ramsey as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Since January 2000, Dr. Ramsey has served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina where she implemented both the University's first Master of Science Degree program and an honors program. She was also instrumental in integrating technology into instruction, implementing web-based registration and establishing the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
