USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets via Conference Call on June 18; Additional Vote Set for Committee on Finance Closed Meeting
Adelphi, Md. (June 17, 2013) -- The
University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Organization
and Compensation will conduct a public vote at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18,
on whether to reconvene in closed, executive session.
The meeting will be held in the Board Room, 14th floor of the
Saratoga Building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The building is
located at 220 North Arch Street, Baltimore, MD. Some members of the committee will
be in attendance before the start of the previously scheduled meeting of the
Board of Regents Committee on Finance. Other committee members will participate
in the public vote via conference call.
The Committee on Organization and Compensation discusses only matters that concern
compensation and personnel. These compensation and personnel matters fall
within the proper guidelines of the Maryland Fair and Open Meeting Act for
holding meetings in closed session.
Also on June 18, the Board of Regents Committee on Finance will conduct a
previously unscheduled vote on whether to reconvene in executive session, at
the end of the public session.
