USM Board of Regents to Hold Annual Retreat at Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel, Oct. 1-2

Adelphi, Md. (Sept. 29, 2009) - The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold its annual retreat on Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel. The hotel is located at 1739 West Nursery Road, Linthicum, Md., 21090.

There will be two public sessions. The first public session will be held on Thursday from 3:10 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. The second will be held on Friday from 8 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. At both public sessions, USM presidents will discuss top priorities for their campuses.

Friday's public session will begin with board action on restructuring of the UMBI Medical Biotechnology Center.

The regents will meet in executive session before the public session on Thursday and after the public session on Friday.
