Past chairman of the board of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and the Empower Baltimore Management Corporation. Currently a fellow of the American Trial of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Maryland Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He is a recipient of The Daily Record's "Leadership in Law Award" and listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Business Litigation and Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Mr. Shea received his bachelor's degree from Princeton University in 1974 and J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1977.
