Robert L. Pevenstein

Mr. Pevenstein previously served as a member of the USM Board of Regents from 2003 to 2008. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Maryland Medical System since 2003.

Additional board service includes as Chairman of QuadraMed, a healthcare information technology company, and for companies in the telcom and mining industries. In addition he has co-founded start-up technology companies.

Mr. Pevenstein began his professional career with Price Waterhouse and was a Chief Financial Officer for twenty years concluding with UNC (formerly United Nuclear Corporation), an aviation services and manufacturing company. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, has an MBA from Pepperdine University, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and was an adjunct assistant professor of accounting at the University of Maryland University College. He also served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

He resides in Hunt Valley, Maryland with his wife Elaine and has two grown children.
