USM is hosting a Course Redesign Workshop focused on
undergraduate student cognitive development and learning styles and student
learning outcomes assessments. Dr. Kathy McAdams, Associate Dean of
Undergraduate Education and institutional assessment coordinator for the
University of Maryland, and Dr. Karen Inkelas, Associate Professor for
Counseling and Personnel Services will be leading the workshop. The
workshop provides an opportunity for interested faculty to consult with
experts, problem-solve cases, and share assessment instruments for both
formative and summative assessments in the disciplines.
