Kathy Mattea in Concert -- Coal: Moving Mountains. "Coal" was just a sketch of an idea for her until the Sago Mine Disaster in 2006, which brought back a flood of memories of another tragic mine disaster from her childhood. That same year, she was galvanized into action when she attended Al Gore's global warming presentation at Vanderbilt University. The two streams of inspiration pushed her forward in creating Coal, a deep, heartfelt tribute to the earth.
