The American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment requires that participating institutions conduct biennial greenhouse gas inventories. Although not required by the Commitment, the University chose to conduct this inventory update to refine its data collection methodology and determine whether progress was being made to reduce campus greenhouse gas emissions. The FY 2008 inventory update identified data from the FY 2002-2007 report requiring correction. Thus, this report is being reissued as a stand-alone volume covering FY 2002 - 2008 and replaces the FY 2002-2007 report issued in June 2008. State of Maryland News Are Christmas Trees Really Green?
