USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting Oct. 1 Regarding Building Naming Requests
Baltimore, Md. (Sept. 28, 2018) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet at 4 p.m. on Monday, October 1.The board will vote publicly on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items falling under closing guidelines of the Open Meetings Act. The public vote will occur in the chancellor’s conference room of the USM Elkins Building, located at 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi MD.
The items are two requests by a USM institution to name buildings after individuals.
