USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting at 5 p.m. Today via Conference Call
Baltimore, Md. (Oct. 29, 2018) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. today, via conference call.The board will vote publicly at the USM Adelphi Office building at 3300 Metzerott Road in Adelphi, MD on whether to reconvene its meeting in closed session. The public vote will occur via conference call.
The closed session meeting would follow Open Meetings Act exceptions regarding advice from legal counsel, discussion of potential or pending litigation, and discussion of personnel matters. The board will continue its discussion of the results of the independent University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) football investigations.
