USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting on Friday, May 17 at 8:30 a.m. via Conference Call
Baltimore, Md. (May 16, 2019) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a special meeting on Friday, May 17 at 8:30 a.m. via conference call.After remarks from the board chair during the public portion of the meeting, the board will then vote publicly (access to vote will be in the second-floor conference room, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD) on whether to reconvene its meeting via conference call in closed session. The reasons for closing are to maintain confidentiality with regard to discussions concerning specific personnel, advice of counsel and potential litigation, and to discuss an administrative matter.
