USM Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets November 5

Baltimore, Md. (Nov. 1, 2019) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5 at the University of Baltimore.

The meeting will be held in the Hilda and Michael Bogomolny Room (5th floor) of the Student Center at the University of Baltimore (UB), located at 21 W. Mt. Royal Avenue, Baltimore, MD.

The committee will vote on several academic program proposals. The proposals are a B.A. in legal studies at the University of Baltimore and several degree programs at the University of Maryland, College Park: B.A. and B.S. in Immersive Media Design; B.A. in Religions of the Ancient Middle East; and a Doctor of Public Health. The committee also will vote on a proposal for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to use standardized tests as an optional criterion for admission.
