USM Board of Regents Committee on Audit Holds Scheduled Meeting March 24
Baltimore, Md. (March 21, 2020) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Audit will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24.Access to the public session is via the following dial-in information:

In public session, the committee will discuss several information items. These include USM’s Year End 6/30/2019 Single Audit Report and USM’s Half Year 12/31/2019 Financial Statements & Financial Comparison Analysis to Peer Institutions. There will be an update on USM Office of Legislative Audit activity. The committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the committee would consider issues exempted in the Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration.
Those issues include legislative audit matters that are ongoing and, therefore, confidential; a discussion of investigative matters that may lead to criminal prosecution; the calendar year 2020 internal audit plan; and the committee’s meeting separately with the USM director of audit.
