USM Board of Regents Meets on Monday, May 11
Baltimore, Md. (May 10, 2020) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 11. Access to the public session is via the following dial-in information:Dial In: 1-443-353-0686

USM Chancellor Jay A. Perman will update the regents on the USM’s activities in response to the COVID-19 emergency. USM Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Ellen Herbst will discuss the system’s enrollment workgroup. The board will receive an update on the state of Maryland’s COVID-19 response and work with the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
The board then will vote on whether to reconvene its meeting via conference call in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. The reasons for closing are to handle administrative matters regarding the process of a presidential search and to consult with counsel regarding the recently released Title IX rule.
