USM Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets September 8

Baltimore, Md. (Sept. 3, 2020) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life will hold its next scheduled meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8.

The committee will vote on two graduate degree program proposals at Coppin State University: M.S. in Applied Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and M.S. in Polymers and Materials Sciences. The committee also will vote on a proposed B.A. in Digital Media Studies at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

The committee also will vote on USM institution cultural diversity progress reports.

Information items before the committee include: Preparation for Teaching, Learning, Campus Life, and Student Success (Fall 2020); a report on academic programs delegated to the Chancellor during Academic Year 2019-20; Voter Engagement Across the USM; and a tentative agenda for the 2020-21 academic year.
