USM Board of Regents Committee on Audit Meets October 30
Baltimore, Md. (Oct. 28, 2020) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Audit will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 30.Access to the public session is via the following dial-in information:

In public session, the committee will discuss several information items. These include USM’s fiscal year (FY) 2020 Audit Committee Work Plan, discussion of the committee charter and bylaws, and completed Office of Legislative Audit activity. The committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the committee would consider issues specifically exempted in the Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration.
Those issues include IT security matters that pose vulnerabilities; legislative audit matters that are ongoing and, therefore, confidential; a discussion of investigative matters that may lead to criminal prosecution; the calendar year 2020 internal audit plan of activity; and the committee’s meeting separately with the USM director of audit.
