Two USM Board of Regents Committees to Meet on November 4
Baltimore, Md. (Nov. 2, 2021) – Two committees of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet on Thursday, November 4.The Committee on Governance & Compensation will meet at 8:30 a.m. Access to the meeting is via the following dial-in information:

The committee will vote on an action item regarding presidential search guidelines, followed by a vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items are proposed board memberships of two USM presidents; discussion of USM presidents’ compensation; collective bargaining updates; and an information update regarding specific personnel contracts at the University of Maryland, College Park.

The committee will hear the presentation of an information item regarding the Towson University facilities master plan. There will be a presentation regarding fall 2021 enrollment at USM institutions, the first enrollment update for the fall semester and fiscal year.
The committee will vote publicly on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss an item exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. The item is a real property acquisition in the city of Salisbury.
