USM Board of Regents Committee on Audit Meets December 13
Baltimore, Md. (Dec. 9, 2021) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Audit will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 13.Access to the public session is via the following dial-in information:

In public session, the committee will discuss several information items. These include the USM audited financial statements and the fiscal year (FY) 2021 independent audit of USM’s financial statements. The committee also will discuss completed Office of Legislative Audit activity.
As its final item during the public session, the committee will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the committee would consider issues exempted in the Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. Those issues include an update of USM’s IT security environment; proposed Internal Audit plan of activity; ongoing potential criminal allegations and fraud hotline reports to Internal Audit; and the committee’s meeting separately with the independent auditors and the USM director of internal audit.
