USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting on August 22

Baltimore, Md. (Aug. 19, 2022) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22.  Access to the public session is via the following dial-in information:

There will be one action item: The board will vote on an amendment to existing Bylaws.

There will be one information item: An update from USM Chancellor Jay A. Perman regarding the fall semester.

The board then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss administrative matters exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act.  These matters include Board officer election and a discussion of, and update to, the Board Liaison Program.
