USM Board of Regents Committee on Intercollegiate Athletics Meets on November 14
Baltimore, Md. (Nov. 10, 2022) – The Committee on Intercollegiate Athletics and Student-Athlete Health and Welfare, a committee of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents, will meet at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14.Public access to the meeting is via the following dial-in information:

The committee will vote on a review of its charge, role, and responsibilities. Athletic directors from the following universities will offer mid-year updates: Frostburg State University, Coppin State University, and University of Maryland, College Park.
Finally, the committee will hear an information item concerning the annual report related to the Jordan McNair Safe and Fair Play Act, with a summary of the depth and breadth of campus policies related to the health and safety of student-athletes.
