USM Board of Regents Meets on June 12

Baltimore, Md. (June 9, 2026) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet at 8 a.m. on June 12. The board will convene at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Members of the public who wish to access the meeting via livestream can do so at the following link: https://www.usmd.edu/regents/meetings/livestream.

Members of the public who wish to speak during the public comment period of the meeting must request and receive approval in accordance with the board’s Guidelines on Public Comment at Board Meetings. Please submit requests to regents@usmd.edu.

Doors open to the public 15 minutes before the meeting's posted start time. Please refer to the board’s Guidelines on Meeting Expectations for Attendees. Seating is first-come, first-served based on the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s meeting room constraints. As noted above, however, USM Board of Regents meetings are livestreamed to ensure broad public access.  

The board will hear an educational forum, committee reports, and reports from the councils of university system presidents, faculty, staff, and students. Meeting agendas and supporting materials can be found here and are subject to change. The final item of the public session will be a vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act.
