USM Regents' Finance Committee to Hold Capital Budget Workshop, May 15

ADELPHI, Md. (May 9, 2008) - The Committee on Finance of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold its annual capital budget workshop on Thursday, May 15, 2008, to review and to discuss strategic goals and priorities for the system's capital improvement program. The public session of the meeting will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute, Center of Marine Biology (COMB), Christopher Columbus Center, 710 East Pratt Street, Baltimore.

In addition to members of the full Board of Regents, the presidents of the system's 13 institutions will participate. The workshop will help prepare the finance committee for its June 19, 2008, meeting, during which it will consider capital budget recommendations to present to the full board, meeting June 20 at Salisbury University.
