USM Board of Regents to Vote on Institutions' Implementation Plans

Adelphi, Md. (Jan. 25, 2010) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a special meeting Thursday, Jan. 27, at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). The public session will begin at noon in the President's Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga Office Building (220 North Arch Street, Baltimore, MD 21201).

The board will vote on whether to approve individual implementation plans developed by USM institutions in response to the new USM Strategic Plan.

During its meeting on Dec. 3, 2010, the board approved the USM Strategic Plan 2010-2010. Each institution has developed an implementation plan to align its goals and priorities with those developed in the system-wide Strategic Plan.

After the public session, the board will reconvene to executive session.
