Special Meeting of USM Board of Regents to be Held April 25

Adelphi, Md. (April 22, 2011) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, April 25, at which it will vote on a proposed endorsement of the Maryland Transit Authority Purple Line Light Rail Transit Project and act on a board resolution in memory of The Honorable William Donald Schaefer.

The meeting will be held in Room 03-101 of the 14th floor of the Saratoga Office Building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. After convening in public session at 10:15 a.m., the meeting promptly will adjourn into executive session. The public session is expected to resume shortly after 10:30 a.m.

The board also will vote on a proposed salary structure for USM nonexempt staff employees.

The building is located at 220 North Arch Street, Baltimore, MD.
