The Office of Decision Support and Institutional Research, Data, and Analytics advances data-informed decision-making across the university system by providing strategic analytics, predictive modeling, actionable insights, and consultative support to institutional leaders. Through research, analysis, and evaluation, the office collaborates with campus and system stakeholders to investigate key issues and inform both short-term priorities and long-term strategies. We collect and analyze data on enrollment, budgeting, resource allocation, workforce trends, and peer benchmarking, and we disseminate findings to internal and external audiences. The office also represents the institutions and the University System of Maryland (USM) in data-related engagements with the Maryland Higher Education Commission and other state and federal agencies.
