The Maryland Open Source Textbook (M.O.S.T.) Commons is a digital library of open educational resources. We invite Maryland educators to discover, collaborate and create OER resources to improve curriculum. Maryland educators can actively engage with the site to search through collections curated by M.O.S.T. institutional partners; Connect with colleagues to author and share Open Educational Resources; and Build and publish OER on your own or with others.
Members of the site can explore the curated collections of OER curated by the M.O.S.T. initiative.
Institutional Sites: An Institutional Site is a custom resource center on M.O.S.T. Commons where groups can create and share collections associated with a project or organizations. Projects, institutions, and initiatives make use of Institutional Sites to bring groups of educators together to create, organize, and share collections that meet your common goals.
Groups: Groups provide a flexible environment to collaborate with other in your network or disciplinary area across institutions. Groups may be created within an Institutional Site or as a stand-along collaborative space.
Using the Open Author feature of the site, users can build and publish OER content on their own or with others. Through the resource builder format makes it easy to combine text, picture, sounds, files, and video, and save the as openly licensed education resources which can be share with friends, colleagues and educators within your institution, across Maryland, or globally. The module builder format allows authors to create both student and instructor facing content views.
