University of Maryland, College Park, USM's flagship institution, is the state's premier center of research and
graduate education and a public institution of choice for undergraduate students of exceptional ability
and promise.The university is ranked among the nation's top 20 public research universities by U.S. News & World
Report, with 31 academic programs in the top 10 and 91 in the top 25.The faculty includes two Nobel Laureates,
