USM Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets May 15
Adelphi, Md. (May 11, 2018) – The Committee on Organization and Compensation of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet at noon on Tuesday, May 15. The meeting will be held at Towson University in Room 314 of the University Union. The Committee has invited other members of the Board of Regents to attend; as such, there may be a quorum of the full Board at the meeting.
The committee will vote publicly on whether to reconvene in closed session to consider items that fall under closing guidelines of the Open Meetings Act. Those items are the discussions of annual reviews for USM presidents, USM senior staff, and the USM chancellor. There will also be an information update regarding athletics contracts at the University of Maryland, College Park, subject to review under BOR VII-10.0 Policy on Board of Regents Review of Certain Contracts and Employment Agreements, and several other items that fall within closed session guidelines.
