USM Board of Regents Committee on Governance and Compensation Meets Sept. 12

Baltimore, Md. (Sept. 11, 2023) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Governance & Compensation will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

The committee will hear an information item regarding the Segal Study on executive compensation. The committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items are an update on status of collective bargaining at USM institutions; a consolidated collective bargaining update; and an information update on specific personnel contracts subject to review under the Policy on Board of Regents Review of Certain Contracts and Employment Agreements.
