PLEASE NOTE: Application forms for available scholarships are accessible through the links below. Potential applicants should enter their pertinent information directly into the document and save a copy to their personal computer drive once completed. Applications cannot be submitted to the University System of Maryland office through this site.

All student applicants, whether nominated by their institution's Office of the President or self-nominated, should work with their campus's Transfer Services or Scholarship office to coordinate the submission of their application packets. Community College administrators will send application packages directly from their offices to the University System of Maryland scholarship committee via a portal link to be provided to them.

Regents - Full Full Kelly Award Download Application	Complete a minimum of 56 credits with a minimum 3.8 GPA Demonstrate financial need by submitting FAFSA Pursue any major leading to the bachelor's degree at any USM Institution
Weinberg for Part-time Attendance Download Application Up to $1,000/year	Complete the associate degree with a 4.0 GPA Pursue any major leading to the bachelor's degree at any USM Institution

Maryland Support Scholarships *No application required. Winners are selected from those who apply for the transfer scholarships listed above

Board of Regents Grant Award: $2,500 per semester (renewable for four semesters)	3.8 Grade Point Average or higher Associate degree preferred or a minimum of 56 credits completed Pursue any major leading to the bachelor's degree at any USM Institution
Kelly Access Opportunity Grant Award: $2,000 per semester (renewable for four semesters)	3.8 Grade Point Average or higher Have completed a minimum of 56 credits Demonstrate financial need by submitting FAFSA Pursue any major leading to the bachelor's degree at any USM Institution

Required Documentation:

1. Nomination letter from the community college president; students may self-nominate, but if they do so, the student's application must still go through the campus college scholarship/transfer coordinator.
2. Scholarship application form
3. Personal statement of the student's educational and career goals
4. Official copy of the community college transcript
5. Unofficial transcript copies from all other colleges and universities attended.
6. One or two letters of recommendation from faculty or staff members at the community college
7. Students must submit the FAFSA to be considered for any scholarship or grant with the requirement of “Demonstrated financial need.”
8. Optional - Evidence of the student's scholarly and creative activities - limit of two items (can include scanned copies of artwork, photos, creative projects, research papers, published material, honors, awards, etc.)

Please Note: Preference will be given to Maryland residents during the scholarship selection process coming from the community colleges.
