Education Policy Committee to Meet June 21 at Bowie State University

The Committee on Education Policy of the Board of Regents will meet in public session on Friday, June 21, 2002, in the Library Conference Room on the second floor of the Thurgood Marshall Library on the campus of Bowie State University, Bowie, Maryland, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Committee will consider the following items:

  • New academic program proposals.
    Bowie State University: M.A. and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology
    Salisbury University: B.A. in International Studies, Master of Science in Mathematics Education
    Towson University: B.S. - Integrated Elementary Education-Special Education
    University of Baltimore: Doctor of Management Information Systems
    University of Maryland, College Park: MCP, M.S. and Ph.D. in Bioengineering
  • Modifications to format for new academic program proposals and addition of required annotations in resources table accompanying new program proposals.
  • Resolution on student riots.
  • Changes to the constitution of the Council of University System Faculty (I-2.00).
  • Institutional minority achievement plans.
  • Low-productivity programs.
