Regents' External Relations Committee to Meet January 18 at College Park

The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents' Committee on External Relations will meet in public session on Friday, January 18 at 9:30 a.m. in Critique Hall in the Plant Sciences Building at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP).

The Committee will consider several agenda items, including:

  • Board of Regents policy on the use of foundation and alumni association funds to pay USM employees for fundraising work
  • Status report on USM technology parks at UMCP and Frostburg State University, and a presentation on a feasibility study for a proposed technology incubator at the University of Maryland, Baltimore
  • Status report on the USM fundraising campaign
  • Plans for retirement gala for USM Chancellor Donald N. Langenberg
  • Preparation for 2002 Maryland General Assembly
