Regents' External Relations Committee to Meet September 13 at USM Office
The External Relations Committee of the University System of Maryland (USM)
Board of Regents will meet in public session on Friday, September 13 in the
Chancellor's Conference Room at the USM Office, 3300 Metzerott Road in Adelphi,
MD. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m.
The Committee will consider several agenda items:

Report on final results of the USM's "Make a Lasting Impression"
capital campaign, by John K. Martin, vice chancellor for advancement in the USM
Office and president of the University of Maryland Foundation, Inc.

Approval of fundraising goals for Fiscal Year 2003

Investment results from Fiscal Year 2002

Report on the Intellectual Property Legal Resource Center at the University of
Maryland School of Law, by Diane Hoffman, associate dean for faculty and
external affairs at the School of Law

Report on extramural funding for the USM institutions, by Ruth Robertson,
associate vice chancellor for Academic Affairs at the USM Office
-
Introduction of the "Maintain the Momentum" campaign for continued
state support for the USM institutions, by USM Chancellor William E. Kirwan
