Regents' Finance Committee to Meet January 24 at Towson University

The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents' Committee on Finance will meet in public session on Thursday, January 24 at approximately 10 a.m. in Chesapeake Room I on the third floor of the University Union at Towson University.

The Committee will consider several agenda items, including:

  • Update on the Fiscal Year 2003 budget
  • Resolution regarding the impact of USM facilities design and construction on the built environment
  • 2001-2020 facilities master plan for the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP)
  • Proposal to construct an atrium in the UMCP Chemistry Teaching Building
  • Proposal to increase funding authorization for the Kim Engineering Building and South Campus Parking Garage projects at UMCP
  • Request from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) to enact the third of five one-year contracts for the System-wide acquisition of scientific supplies and equipment; the contract, awarded jointly to VWR International and Fisher, serves as a primary source for scientific goods for several USM institutions, including UMB, UMCP, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County
