USM Regents Committee on Advancement Meets February 5

Adelphi, Md. (Feb. 3, 2014) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Advancement Committee will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The meeting is scheduled to be held in the Chancellor's Conference Room in the Elkins Building at the USM headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD. (In the event of inclement weather, an update will be provided on the morning of Feb. 5 .)

The committee will hear several information items, including an update on the establishment of a $50 million quasi-endowment fund to enhance development operations.

The committee also will discuss the use of services to improve alumni/friend engagement; the role of USM presidents in fundraising; a summary of fundraising costs; and the year-to-date fundraising report.
