Adelphi, Md. (April 28, 2014) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life will meet in a day-long public session, beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30. The purpose of the session is to review and discuss the proposed mission statements of the USM institutions and regional centers.

The meeting will be held in the Chancellor's Conference Room at the USM headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, Md.

Institution presidents and executive directors, or their designees, will present those statements and be available to respond to questions from members of the Committee on Education Policy and Student Life.

The committee will make a recommendation on the statements, inclusive of any revisions, at its regularly scheduled meeting on June 3. During its meeting on June 27, the full Board of Regents will consider the statements for final adoption.
