USM Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets Sept. 11
Adelphi, Md. (Sept. 7, 2018) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11.
The meeting will be held in the Chancellor's Conference Room in the Elkins Building at the USM headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD.
The committee will vote publicly on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the committee would discuss items specifically exempted in the Open Meetings Act from public consideration.
The reasons for closing are to 1) maintain confidentiality regarding collective bargaining negotiations (§3-305(b)(9) and 2) to maintain confidentiality of discussion regarding individual employment agreements.
The committee then will reconvene in public session. The committee will hear two information items. The first is an education session on succession planning and incentive pay. The second item concerns the status of a work plan on executive compensation and governance.
