USM Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets March 5

Baltimore, Md. (March 1, 2019) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life at its next meeting will vote on new academic program proposals and hear an update on USM civic education and civic engagement efforts.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, on the seventh floor of the Albin O. Kuhn Library on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

The degree program proposals are M.S. degree programs at the University of Maryland, College Park in the following disciplines: Applied Economics; Geospatial Information Sciences; and Geospatial Intelligence.

In addition to the information item on civic education and engagement, the committee will be updated on USM P-20 Initiatives.
