USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting 4:30 p.m. Today via Conference Call
Baltimore, Md. (March 19, 2019) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. today via conference call.
The board will vote publicly via conference call on whether to reconvene its meeting via conference call in closed session. The public can access the vote on whether to reconvene in closed session by dialing 888-240-3210 (access code: 2612509).
The reasons for closing are to maintain confidentiality regarding a personnel matter involving a former employee; to discuss administrative matters concerning communication strategies regarding proposed budget cuts on the system; discussion of communication strategies pertaining to board financial disclosures.
