USM Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets May 10

Baltimore, Md. (May 6, 2022) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life will hold its next scheduled meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10.

The committee will vote on several new academic program proposals. These include a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership at Coppin State University; a B.S. in Health Science at Salisbury University; and a B.S. in Fitness and Wellness Leadership at Towson University. The committee also will vote on several academic programs proposed by Frostburg State and Bowie State universities.

The committee will vote on a proposed amendment to the USM Policy on Undergraduate Admissions and hear an information item, 2022 Cultural Diversity Reports and Beyond.

The meeting will conclude with a discussion of potential agenda items for the 2022-23 year.
