USM Board of Regents Committee on Governance and Compensation Meets Oct. 17

Baltimore, Md. (Oct. 16, 2023) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Governance & Compensation will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

The committee will vote on the approval of minutes from the public and closed sessions of the Sept. 12 meeting. The committee will vote on its charter, followed by a vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items are an update on the Segal study regarding USM presidents’ compensation; an update on status of collective bargaining at USM institutions; and matters concerning specific employment agreements of USM and institution personnel.
