USM Board of Regents Committee on Governance and Compensation Meets May 28

Baltimore, Md. (May 27, 2025) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Governance & Compensation will meet at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28.

The committee will vote on approval of the minutes from its prior meeting on March 24. The committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items concern an update on the status of collective bargaining at USM institutions, negotiation briefings regarding two labor MOUs, an update regarding specific personnel contracts, and annual review discussion of the presidents and senior staff.
