USM Board of Regents Committee on Finance Meets on October 27

Baltimore, Md. (October 22, 2025) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Finance will meet at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 27. Public access to the meeting is via the following dial-in information:

Action items before the committee include review and approval of an amendment to the Forty-Seventh Bond Resolution to authorize additional revenue bonds for Bowie State University’s “Refurbish Tubman Hall” project; an increase in authorization for Salisbury University’s Commons Building Kitchen HVAC Replacement project; and approval for repairs and restoration for Towson University’s Central Utility Plant.

Information items include a University System of Maryland report on FY 2025 procurement contracts and an enrollment update and FY2026 estimated full-time equivalent (FTE) report.

The committee will convene to a closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items concern consideration of the acquisition of properties in the City of College Park and Queen Anne’s County, and the investment of the USM Common Trust Fund.
