Board of Regents Meets June 22 at University of Maryland, College Park
ADELPHI, Md. (June 20, 2007) - The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of
Regents will convene its summer public meeting on Friday, June 22, 2007, beginning
at 8:30 a.m. It will be held in the Orem Alumni Hall of the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni
Center at University of Maryland, College Park.
The board will consider
implementation of a new college loan "Code of Conduct" as proposed by the
Attorney General of Maryland as well as the system's FY 2009 capital budget
request and FY 2009-2013 capital improvement program.
In addition, the meeting
will include information reports on:

K-16 Update;

Annual Report on
Intercollegiate Athletics;

Minority
Achievement Status Report;

Retention and
Graduation Rates of First-Time, Full-Time Degree-Seeking Undergraduates;

FY 2008 Operating
Budget Status;

Financial Aid FY 2000-2005;
-
FY 2006
Procurement Contracts;
-
Review of Capital
Improvement Projects.
The meeting will conclude
with reports from the board's audit and institutional assessment committee, effectiveness
and efficiency workgroup, and capital campaign workgroup.
