FY 2009 Operating Budget, UMCP Master Plan on Finance Committee Agenda, January 24
ADELPHI, Md. (January 22, 2008) - The Committee on Finance of the University System
of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet Thursday, January 24, 2008, at Towson
University. The public session of the meeting will begin at 11 a.m. in the Minnegan Room of the Johnny Unitas Stadium
Field House. The meeting will be preceded at 10 a.m. by an executive session of the committee.
Action items on the
committee's agenda include:

Procurement of
Intelligent Transportation Systems program management, administrative, and
technical support for the I-95 Corridor Coalition;

Creation of a
board policy on debt management;

Towson University's trimester pilot program.
The committee will also review
Governor Martin O'Malley's proposed FY 2009 operating budget for USM, the
2007-2020 Facilities Master Plan Update for University of Maryland, College
Park, and the
status of capital improvement projects across the system.
