Regents' Education Policy Committee Looks at Course Redesign, Faculty Workload, Nov. 19
ADELPHI, Md. (November 13, 2008) - The Committee on Education Policy of the University
System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet Wednesday, November 19,
2008, at Towson University. The public meeting will convene at 9:30 a.m. in the Minnegan Room (#306) of the Johnny Unitas Stadium
Field House.
Action items before the
committee are:

New bachelor of
science program in bioinformatics at Bowie State University;

New Masters in
Law (LL.M.) program at University of Maryland, Baltimore.
The committee will also
review:

Update on USM
course redesign project;

Results of
periodic reviews of academic programs;

Report on USM
faculty workload;

Opening Fall 2008
enrollment and FY 2009 estimated FTE (full-time equivalent student) report.
