USM Regents Finance Committee to Hold Capital Budget Workshop May 24

Adelphi, Md. (May 19, 2011) -- The Committee on Finance of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold its annual capital budget workshop on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, to review and discuss strategic goals and priorities for the system's capital improvement program. The public session of the meeting will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of the Christopher Columbus Center, 710 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore.

In addition to members of the full Board of Regents, the presidents of the system's 12 institutions will participate. The workshop will help prepare the finance committee for its meeting on June 14, 2011, during which it will consider capital budget recommendations to present to the full board at its meeting scheduled for June 17.
