Payroll System Information for Deduction Processing

The University System of Maryland has 3 payroll systems that are determined by either your institution on your employee status.

  • If you are employed at the University of Maryland, Baltimore , University of Maryland, Baltimore County, University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, University of Maryland Global Campus, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, or USM Office, you are on the "UM" payroll system.
  • If you are employed at Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Frostburg State University, Salisbury University, Towson University, or University of Baltimore, you are either on the "RG (Regular)" or "CT (Contractual)" payroll system, depending on your employee status. If you are unsure of which payroll system you are on, you can visit the Payroll Online Service Center , view your list of current pay stubs, and look for "System" in the report.
